VTV.vn - During a conference on Friday morning, four groups of solutions were identified for the quick removal of the "yellow card" placed on Vietnamese seafood by the EU.

There will be stricter control of fishing vessels at sea and at ports, and stronger measures will be taken against acts of illegal fishing in foreign seas. A number of localities and ministries have made several recommendations to remove the "yellow card" as there are only five months until the deadline given by the European Commission.

According to the plan, this October, the European Parliament delegation will return to Vietnam to inspect and evaluate the implementation of the European Commission's recommendations against illegal fishing.
