Bùi Nguyễn Duy Thanh, 31, and Nguyễn Thành Trung, 26, confessed that they had gone to Cambodia to play cards on Wednesday morning, where they received four cakes of heroin from a man named Sỹ at TTP One Hotel to smuggle to HCM City to deliver to an unknown woman.
The men were to be paid US$4,000 for smuggling the heroin.
However, they were apprehended in Tây Ninh Province’s Bến Cầu District.
The police are continuing their investigation.
