In Hanoi, the top bonus level stands at nearly 4.500 USD, while the lowest is 20 USD. In Ho Chi Minh City, this figure ranges from 140 to 27000 USD with the local average of 300 USD.
According to local reports to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, & Social Affairs, employees this year will receive an average Tet bonus of one month's salary. This increase is partly because of the rising minimum wage.
