The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment completed a number of laws on water resources, environmental protection, land management, maritime environment and resources as well as hydrometeo/rology over the past five years. In 2015, the ministry also drafted Vietnam’s submission to the COP 21 Summit. At the event, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment also pointed the reasons for its shortcomings in environmental management and discussed solutions for the 2016 - 2020 period.
