According to Mr. Bounchao Phichit, in the near future, Laos National Television would broadcast Vietnamese-speaking programs and prepare for management mechanism, thus providing financial boost, and creating incentive for production. Director General of Laos National Television also hoped that VTV would continue to support and share experiences about management mechanism, finance and professional training for staffs and reporters.
According to the Director General of Vietnam Television, Mr. Tran Binh Minh stated that it was because of Government’s permission of financial autonomy, VTV had many outstanding improvements in the past few years. That was the foundation for VTV to promote resources, build up expert staffs and invest in facilities.
On the request of Laos National Television, Mr. Tran Binh Minh affirmed to be in willingness to share their own experiences that might be useful for their counterpart to learn and apply to actual operation. Moreover, Mr. Tran Binh Minh also emphasized about developing mechanism, which its core was to improve staffs and create efficient working atmosphere in order to encourage workers’ creativity and devotion.
Besides the meeting with the Director General, Laos National Television also paid a visit to exchange experiences with VTV other units such as News Committee, Foreign Relations Television Committee, and TVAds.
