Multilateral cooperation

During 40 years of development, VTV has established and is expanding formal partnerships with broadcasters, media conglomerates in all continents of the world. In Asia, VTV maintainsclose multifaceted cooperation with NHK, TBS, NIKKEI, JICA (Japan), KBS, Arirang TV, CJ (Korea), CCTV (China), MediaCorp (Singapore), Thai PBS, MCOT (Thailand), DDI (India), TRT (Turkey), etc.

Many European broadcasters such as France Televisions, CFI (France), DW, Goeth Institute (German), RTBF (Belgium), ORT (Russian) consider VTV as one of the preferable partner in Asia. VTV is constantly expanding in such faraway continents as America (CNN, Cuban Radio and Television), Australia (ABC) and French-speaking radio and television in Africa.

An active member of leading international conferences

Actively integrating with the global television industry, VTV is an active member of many leading organizations like Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), French-Speaking Radio and Television International Council (CIRTEF). In 2013, VTV is the host of the 50th ABU General Assembly.

VTV is currently approachingthe partners to become a member of European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

Exchanging information and programs with many televisions in the world

VTV is an active member of Asiavision, Asean Television News (ATN). Besides, VTV also exchanges news and programs with many overseas broadcasters, for example NHK (Japan), KBS, Arirang (Korean), CCTV (China), Channel News Asia (MediaCorp), etc.

International co-production

In order to exchange profession experiences with international broadcasters, VTV regularly participates in co-production projects, for instance TV Magazine for Children (with Goethe Institute), collaboration with CIRTEF, documentary of CARE project (Changing Asia rescue the Earth), Digista Teens program andABU Songs Festival.

2013 is considered a milestone in filmmaking cooperation between VTV and TBS (Japan) which is proven by the success of "The Partner". VTV has also cooperated with NHK - JICA (Japan) to produce the documentary "The patriot PhanBoiChau".
