This week's Road to Olympia Mount featured four contestants: Nguyen Ngoc Thuan (Greenfield Primary - Secondary - High School, Hung Yen), Le Truong Thinh (Minh Chau High School, Quang Binh), Phan Trong Tue (Vinh Phuc Specialized High School), and Hua Hoang Phuoc (Hoang Le Kha High School, Tay Ninh).
In the Warm-Up round, the four contestants finished with close scores. After the 12 questions in the common warm-up round, Trong Tue was in the lead with 70 points. Following were Truong Thinh (55 points), Hoang Phuoc (45 points), and Ngoc Thuan (25 points).
In the Overcome Obstacle round, Hoang Phuoc was the only contestant to answer the first horizontal row correctly. After the first question, except for Trong Tue, the other three contestants pressed the buzzer to answer the obstacle. Hoang Phuoc was the only one to answer correctly, identifying the answer as Vu Lan Festival. This brought Hoang Phuoc's total to 105 points.
During the Speed-Up round, all four contestants had multiple opportunities to increase their score gaps. Hoang Phuoc, as the highest scoring contestant, maintained a steady performance by providing quick and correct answers. His score consistently increased, keeping him in the lead with 205 points. Meanwhile, Ngoc Thuan had 45 points, Truong Thinh had 145 points, and Trong Tue had 150 points.
In the Finish Round, the contestant with the highest score, Hoang Phuoc, went first. He chose a set of three 20-score questions but failed to answer two of the three, losing points to his opponents. Hoang Phuoc regained points by correctly answering his last question and those of the other contestants. He finished with 225 scores.
Next, Truong Thinh chose a set of three questions worth 20 points. He lost points on the first question but quickly regained a significant amount by placing a star of hope on the second question. He lost points again on the third question to Trong Tue, finishing with 145 points.
Trong Tue confidently chose a set of 20-30-20 point questions. After sitting in the studio and listen to his questions, he answered the 30-point question correctly and went on to answer the third question, also correctly using the star of hope. Trong Tue led the way with 230 points.
Finally, Ngoc Thuan ended the Finishing Round with a set of three 30-point questions but failed to answer any of them correctly.
Notably, in Ngoc Thuan's Finish Round, Trong Tue rang the bell to answer two maths and history questions but lost points30 points and dropped to 200 points. This last-minute error cost Trong Tue the laurel wreath. The winner of this week's Road to Olympia Mount is Hoang Phuoc.
