The Youth Union of Vietnam Television has coordinated with organizations such as Hanoi City Youth Union, VP Bank Youth Union to organize the meaningful journey "Border Solidarity" in Ha Giang Province for 4 days from December 16 to December 19, 2023. The activity was in response to the campaign "Border Solidarity, Seas and Islands" for the period 2023-2028 among the young officers of People's Public Security, the program "Accompaniment of Border Women" in 2023, Commemorate the 51st Anniversary of the Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu Air Victory (December 18, 1972 - December 18, 2023), the 77th Anniversary of the National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2023), and the Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the period 2023-2028.
After a challenging journey, the volunteer delegation arrived at the first stop in Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang Province, where they presented three computers and 32 printers to the task forces and police in various communes.
In Ban May Village, Hoang Su Phi District, the delegation supported the "Brighten the Border Road" project by installing a lighting system along the main road (approximately 1,000 meters long). They financially supported and built a new multi-purpose house for teachers and students of the Ban May Boarding Ethnic Primary and Secondary School. They also distributed thousands of winter clothes, cotton blankets, mattresses, bedding, wall clocks, and 50 administrative maps of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to children in Ban May and Chien Pho villages. The total value of these gifts was 700,000,000 VND.
The winter volunteer trip of the youth of Vietnam Television, Capital Police Youth, VP Bank and others is a meaningful activity that contributes to the political and ethical education of every TV worker and police officer in the capital. It encourages them to make efforts to learn and follow the ideals, ethics and style of President Ho Chi Minh, carry on the glorious traditions of the nation and contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful country.
