The ceremony of the 4th National Press Awards for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negative Phenomena in 2022-2023 was held in Hanoi on the evening of November 5, 2023. Out of 1,078 valid entries, the members of the jury sorted out and unanimously selected 54 outstanding works to award 4 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 12 C prizes, and 28 encouragement prizes.
The 5-episode documentary "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down), produced by the Documentary Film Center of Vietnam Television, is one of the four outstanding works that won the A Prize at this year's awards. "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) consists of 5 episodes aired on VTV1 and has attracted great attention from the audience as it revolves around the theme of anti-corruption.
“Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) does not use narration and focuses on analyzing the causes and solutions for preventing corruption. Produced within one year with the participation of hundreds of people from inside and outside the country, along with valuable anti-corruption materials, "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) brings profound, highly topical and innovative content.

After the documentary "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) won the A Prize, Phan Y Linh - co-director and producer of the film - said that "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) is the first political documentary she and director Nhat Duy have made. "The award is a profound source of encouragement, providing positive inspiration for young filmmakers like us to continue to approach, explore and innovate the way we make films on political issues. This is a challenging subject for filmmakers, but also a source of pride when entrusted with such responsibilities," Linh said.
Director Phan Y Linh expressed special thanks to the entire crew, as well as the film's experts and advisors... who dedicated themselves to bringing the "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down) series to life.
Phan Y Linh previously told VTV News about the film series: "The concept of anti-corruption is central to all five episodes of 'Không lùi bước' (No Back Down). The first episode helps viewers identify corruption, along with its consequences and remedies.
The second episode focuses on the system and how to prevent corruption. The third episode is about laws to prevent corruption. The fourth episode discusses ethics and culture in the fight against corruption. And in the last episode, the fifth episode, it's about protecting those who dare to take action."

In addition to the documentary "Không lùi bước" (No Back Down), which won the A Prize, VTV's work "Đóng cửa rừng - Đóng một cửa lại mở ra nhiều cửa" (Closing the Forest - Closing One Door Opens Many Others) by Nguyen Van Giang, Pham Van Viet, Truong Le Thanh Tan, aired on VTV9 in 2022, won the C Prize.
