A litre of RON 92 PETROL will cost VND16,032 while E5 bio fuel will be available at VND 15,339 respectively. Prices of other petroleum products were also cut from between VND616 to 865 a litre. The ministry said the falling domestic retail petroleum price was attributable to the downward trend in global fuel prices over the past fortnight.
The ministries also decided to keep the petrol price stabilisation fund unchanged while taxes and fees also remain unchanged. This has been the first slump for the year 2016. Last year, petroleum retail prices fell 12 times and rose 6 times.
