VTV.vn - A fire broke out at the Dong Xuan Centre at midday on May 11. Updating on the current situation, Vietnam’s ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung affirmed that no casualty was reported. The center is returning to normal activities.

The centre is a major trade hub for overseas Vietnamese in Berlin, Germany. Witnesses said large columns of smoke could be seen from several kilometres away, which was started in a Indian-owned store in the centre.

Accordingly, the rescue force couldn’t use water to put out the fire due to some chemicals and flammable goods that could cause bigger damages.
