Khanh Hoa Province helps ethnic people prepare for Tet Holiday

These days, poor households in Ninh Tan Commune, Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province are excited to see their houses being repaired, thanks to supports from local authorities.

Thirty-three houses of ethnic groups and poor families in Ninh Tan Commune will be repaired or rebuilt before the Lunar New Year, costing around 18,000 USD. The local authorities are also subsidising the costs of digging wells to ensure water supplies for the Tet Holiday.

In addition, businesses in Khanh Hoa Province have also entered into the spirit of the time of year, offering gifts to people of ethnic groups and poor households to help them prepare for the nearing Tet Holiday.

For the last few years, Khanh Haa Province has put emphasis on supporting poor people and ethnic communities. This has significantly improved the living standards of local residents.
