VTV.vn - More than 400 young people and students joined the 2016 Business Start-up Festival hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Hanoi on January 9.

The event was intended to inspire entrepreneurship among young people and promote business start-up activities through training classes, workshops and exchanges.

Some questions raised by judges and competing teams for the participants from the National Economic University. This team introduced the Net-Loading application, which helps connect truck drivers and customers in freight forwarding services.

The festival featured top three projects selected from hundreds of start-up entries. Groups introduced ideas, methods, operational models and the profitability of their projects to the examination council.

"Through these exchanges and advice from financial and technical experts, we help them to consider feasible solutions for their start-ups", Phan Dang Chuong, Deputy Director General of Ernst & Young Vietnam, said.

"These teams have launched good products but haven’t focused much on marketing, or their business and investment plans. These are very crucial factors for business success", Dao Chi Anh, Director of The Kafe Ltd., said.

Over the past 13 years, the Business Start-up Programme has attracted thousands of young people with nearly 3,000 business projects and initiatives.
