The current state of water suggests that salt intrusion and droughts are predicted to occur during harvest seasons in 2016.

The areas to be most affected are the Central Highlands, Central Region, and Mekong Delta Region. The authorities have supervised local regions to strictly monitor water sources and follow sustainable production models.
