This was the highlight of a conference on Saturday morning discussing the city’s development strategy for the 2016-2020 period. At the event, experts suggested that more preferential policies are needed to attract skilled labour to the city.
Notably, they said that the local authority should consider sending some experts in public departments to support private businesses. Currently, the city has sent over 600 students to study abroad in sectors that are in need of more skilled labour.
It has also received 1,300 labourers from other provinces with favourable working conditions. Da Nang is currently said to be the leading locality nationwide in preferential policies for skilled labour.
