At the reception, the Vietnamese government leader affirmed Vietnam's willing to step up cooperation with New Zealand in all fields to deepen their comprehensive partnership and prepare for a long-term and sustainable strategic partnership in the time ahead.
Vietnam is expecting New Zealand PM John Key’s visit to dilate on new forms of cooperation to tap potential in economics, trade, investment, tourism, agriculture and science-technology.
For his part, Minister Steven Joyce informed Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung of results achieved during his talks with Vietnam’s Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan.
He told PM Nguyen Tan Dung that the two ministers agreed to prepare a strategic cooperation framework on education which is scheduled to be signed during PM John Key’s visit- one of the major events marking the 40th anniversary of the two nations' diplomatic relations.
