The president lauded the governor for working with Vietnam’s localities and enterprises in order to map out a co-operative mechanism between the two sides.
The leader said the economic bilateral relationship has not fully tapped its potential and requested the governor and Russian authorities to work together with a view to actually implement agreements signed between the two sides.
He also thanked the governor of Kaluga for supporting Vietnamese who are studying and working in the oblast. The visit is aimed at bolstering collaboration in agri-business, particularly dairy cow breeding and milk processing.
The governor also stressed the province is implementing several policies to attract investment, adding that it has always supported and created best possible conditions for Vietnamese businesses to invest in the locality, some 150 kilometres from the Russian capital of Moscow.
