Le Thi Nga, a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, was elected Chairwoman of the Law Committee. Nguyen Duc Hai, a member of the NA Standing Committee and deputy head of the Central Party Inspection Commission, was elected Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee.
Vo Trong Viet, Deputy Defence Minister, was elected head of the National Defence and Security Committee. Nguyen Thanh Hai, a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, was elected Chairwoman of the Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Children, Adolescents, and Children, Nguyen Thuy Anh, a member of the NA Standing Committee, was elected chairwoman of the Committee for Social Affairs.
