Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son chaired the meeting with representatives from the Ministries of Defence, Public Security, Natural Resources and Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, and Transport as well as 7 border provinces.
Reports at the conference revealed that in the past 5 years three important documents on demarcation, border and border gate management have been strictly implemented with close collaboration between relevant units.
Therefore, rising issues have been promptly solved for the stability of the border and the socio-economic development as well as the life of people living near the border. The deputy foreign minister urged relevant agencies to promote national sovereignty and territorial integrity while strengthening comprehensive strategic co-operation with China.
