Yen Bai promotes tourism

Located between Kunming, Lao Cai, Hanoi and Hai Phong, Yen Bai is the centre of transportation links for Vietnam's northern mountainous provinces. There are 30 ethnic groups in Yen Bai Province. However, the tourism sector in the province has not lived up to its full potential. Yen Bai is calling for investment in 24 projects in the tourism sector. The opening ceremony of the Yen Bai Tourism Year also took place yesterday. The Mother Goddesses Festival in Yen Bai is scheduled for Saturday.
