The book lays out President Ho Chi Minh's viewpoint on building new life which was based on the key qualities of hard work, frugality, integrity and honesty. With its practical contents, the book played an important role in motivating people during the war time. After 70 years, the philosophy of Ho Chi Minh in the book is still regarded practical for new countryside and urban development today. The workshop was also a part of activities to celebrate the 127th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh.
