VTV.vn - The central province of Thua Thien-Hue is an attractive tourist destination for both local and foreign visitors.

Every year, the locality welcomes millions of visitors. In addition to its heritage sites, local authorities are currently developing walking streets, offering visitors a new space, in which they can enjoy the city's nightly atmosphere.

Phạm Ngũ Lão, Chu Văn An and Võ Thị Sáu streets are frequented by tourists who visit Hue. By the end of September, these streets will become walking streets starting from 6 p.m to 2 a.m every Friday to Sunday.

Aside from the currently available services, there will be also be a food court featuring local specialties and street performers for entertaining tourists.

In addition, Hue has also proposed the establishment of a walking street on Truong Tien Bridge across the Huong River, a cultural and historical symbol of the city. This walking street will connect with three other streets, making it easier for locals and tourists to navigate the city at night.

Through more diverse tourism products such as tours in the Imperial Citadel and the new walking streets, Thua Thien-Hue province hopes to attract more tourists and contribute to the development of the country
