In particular, the climate crisis, the rise of conflict and the recession following the Covid-19 pandemic threaten the very life of humanity. The decisions we make today will shape our future. The media must be a key player in shaping this future, focusing on reporting from pressing local issues to the broader challenges of humanity that will impact everyone. In addition, delegates must also find solutions to connect and serve diverse audiences across multiple digital platforms, using the latest technological advances in effective information gathering and distribution.

"Member broadcasters have been changing to adapt to the public's shift to digital platforms. Today's audience sees and hears what they want and when they want. Wants. The technology revolution has created inequality between countries and with people. Not only are we seeing an economic divide, but also a divide in digital access. Obviously, challenges are prevailing, but we have shown through the Covid-19 pandemic that we can turn challenges into opportunities. Through cooperation and activities in the region, cooperation between ABUs and members has been elevated to a new level," added Mr. Javad Mottaghi.
