The Ceremony of the Seventh National Awards for International Dissemination was held on the evening of November 28 at the Hanoi Opera House and was broadcast live on the VTV1 channel. The award ceremony was jointly held by the Central Communication and Education Department, the Steering Committee for International Dissemination Work in coordination with relevant departments, ministries and branches.
Among more than 1,000 entries, the Organizing Committee awarded 102 excellent works, including: 01 Special Prize, 10 First Prizes, 19 Second Prizes, 29 Third Prizes and 43 Consolation Prizes.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the COVID-19 epidemic situation in the country and in the world remains complicated, but the trust of the international community and people from all walks of life in the Party, the State and endogenous values are powerful resources to encourage the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges. In the most difficult and challenging times, the strength of a resilient, courageous and united Vietnam prevails; a Vietnam of compassion, peace and friendship has received great help and deep affection from the international community to overcome difficulties and challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the work of international diffusion in 2020-2021 has helped the international community to understand and appreciate the great success of the XIII National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the XV National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the period 2021-2026, socio-economic activities, security, defense and foreign policy of the Party and the State; thus demonstrating that Vietnam is a good friend, a reliable partner, an active and responsible member of the international community.
Regarding the response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that the work of international dissemination must provide comprehensive and timely information on mutations of the virus, measures to prevent and control the epidemic and the economic recovery of the country, the evolution of the epidemic, responses from countries around the world so that people understand, respond unanimously, participate and strictly implement the policies and solutions of the Party and the State to combat the epidemic.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the award certificate to the group of authors who won the Special Prize for the idea of "Presenting and disseminating the articles of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on " Some theoretical and practical aspects on socialism and the road to socialism in Vietnam " to the political parties and international friends" of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Party, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese News Agency, and the collective that carries out the work of international dissemination.
At this year's award ceremony, Vietnam Television has 05 winning works, all of which belong to the Vietnam Department of International Television Programs, specifically:

This year, the Organizing Committee of the VII International Dissemination Awards received more than 1,000 entries and works, presented in 14 languages in the following categories: printed press, electronic newspaper, web, radio, television, photos, books, video clips, initiatives, ideas, works with international Dissemination value. The highlight of the VII Prize is the active participation of authors, foreign media outlets, Overseas Vietnamese and foreign embassies in Vietnam.
