Reference exchange rate down 2 VND at week’s beginning

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,143 VND/USD on November 29, down 2 VND from the last working day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,827 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,440 VND/USD. The opening-hour rate at commercial banks stayed stable. At 8:15am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,545 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,775 VND/USD, unchanged from November 26.

BIDV also kept both rates unchanged from November 26, listing the buying rate at 22,555 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,755 VND/USD./.
