As part of the strategy to reposition national broadcast channels and enhance service for audiences, VTV Can Tho has been renamed VTV10 and continues to broadcast 24/7. The channel positions itself around Agriculture, Rural Development, and Green Growth, under the message: “VTV10 - For green agriculture, for a sustainable Vietnam”.
Vietnam Television's rebranding is a key part of the strategy to expand its national channel system as well as enhance its information services for audiences in the Mekong Delta and across the country.
The designation “VTV10” aligns with VTV’s digital channel system, reinforcing its role as a national television channel in the Mekong Delta.
VTV10 aims to disseminate the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, while providing comprehensive coverage of reflecting political, economic, cultural, social, defense, and security developments in the Southwest region.

The rebranding further affirms VTV10's role as a national television channel serving the Mekong Delta. It will feature enhanced content on agriculture, rural development, and green growth produced by various units of Vietnam Televisiontargeted towards a nationwide audience.
The channel broadcasts around the clock on terrestrial, cable, satellite, and digital platforms. Its diverse programming includes news bulletins, current affairs programs, education , sports, culture, entertainment, drama series, and segments showcasing economic, agricultural, and rural development models associated with the unique characteristics of the Southwest region. Traditional cultural programs such as đờn ca tài tử, cải lương, and Southern folk music will be emphasized to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the Mekong Delta’s cultural identity for domestic and international audiences.
More than just a change in branding, VTV10 represents a new direction in content development by enhancing connections between the Mekong Delta and the rest of the country. VTV10 promotes the region’s economic and cultural potential, and will accompany its sustainable development in the future.

He emphasized that this change establishes a broadcast sequence with VTV8 and VTV9. VTV10 will focus on the Southwest region, providing comprehensive coverage of the Mekong Delta and in-depth content on agriculture, rural development, and green growth.
Upcoming programming highlights include features on the Khmer traditional New Year, the 2026 Khmer Farmers Football Tournament, and a tractor racing event. Plans also include dedicated agricultural content that showcases product traceability, allowing viewers to observe cultivation processes and certification standards on farms firsthand.
