In recent years, the Party, the State, the Government, and the National Assembly have provided consistent leadership and guidance to national media entities, including Vietnam Television, enabling them to fulfill their missions effectively.
The transition of these three national media agencies to become public service units under the Central Committee is expected to strengthen the Party’s centralized, direct, comprehensive, and unified leadership over key media institutions. It also signals a renewal in thinking, methods, and approaches to leadership in ideological, political, and media work in the new era.
