The Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks are one of the highlights of the business links between the two countries over the past two decades. These industrial zones have contributed to the development of Vietnam economy and society.
Established in 1996 after agreement by the two governments, the industrial parks are a joint venture between Becamex IDC Corporation and a Singapore consortium led by Sembcorp Development. Hoya Lens Group is a company specialising in producing glass lenses and contact lens in Japan. In 2007, when entering Vietnam, Hoya Lens chose to initially locate in VSIP.
VSIP hosts a complex range of industries and urban services. Over the years, the park has become a symbol of Singaporean-Vietnamese business links, and have contributed to improving Vietnam's attractiveness among foreign investors.
