VNU honours Olympiad-winning students
VTV.vn - The Vietnam National University on August 3rd organised a ceremony to honour students who won prizes at recent International Olympiad in maths, physics, biology and informatics in July.
The student won two golds, 4 silvers, and 1 bronze medal. Grade 12 student Nguyen The Hoan won 2 gold medals at the International Mathematics Olympiad over two consecutive years. With 4 medals granted at the International Informatics Olympiad 2015, Vietnam ranks 8 out of the 84 countries competing and tops the Asian list of competitors.
