Accordingly, the VNA Group will add more flights between 15 domestic destinations, including major cities and tourist attractions including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat, Cam Ranh, and Phu Quoc.
This means that the group will add from 280 to 400 flights, equivalent to 56,000 to 80,000 extra seats per day.
The increased flight numbers aim to create more favourable conditions for passengers to take direct flights to tourist attractions without transiting in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.
Notably, Vietnam Airlines will increase the number of flights connecting Thanh Hoa/Hai Phong and Da Lat; Vinh/Hai Phong/Da Nang and Cam Ranh; and Hai Phong – Da Nang route to 14 per week each during peak season.
Each route linking Hai Phong/Da Lat/Vinh/Da Nang and Phu Quoc, and Hai Phong – Buon Ma Thuot route will see from six up to 14 flights per week per route.
Meanwhile Pacific Airlines will increase its frequency of flights connecting Hanoi and Da Nang, and linking Ho Chi Minh City with Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon, Chu Lai, Vinh and Thanh Hoa with two round trips each per day.
On the occasion, VNA Group is offering promotional tickets on selected flights for passengers travelling from March 25 to 28.
To ensure the safety of passengers and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the VNA Group requests passengers to fill in an online mandatory health declaration before arriving at the airport, wash their hands with alcohol-based sanitiser, and have their body temperature checked.
