Most scientists attending the conference come from Vietnam’s “Generation Y” and have acquired prestigious science and technology awards. Their research has resulted in many important solutions to practical issues in daily life. The young scientists expressed their desire to contribute to the nation’s prosperity and socio-economic development. However, they also pointed out challenges to reaching their full potential. They have asked the government to enhance infrastructural development and provide better facilities for research.
