Out of the 7,200 enterprises from 119 countries that are participating in the expo, there are 22 Vietnamese enterprises in the field of agricultural processing and food products.
This year's SIAL Paris focuses on real and clean food in order to address food safety and climate change issues. The number of organic products from Vietnam attending this year's exhibition is much higher than in previous years, including a number of traditional Vietnamese agricultural products, but not including seafood products.
Many of Vietnam's fresh, frozen and mashed tropical fruits are also being featured. The exhibition will run until Thursday.
