Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand receives two rescued fishermen

VTV.vn - On Friday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand received two Vietnamese fishermen who were rescued by a ship from the Marshall Islands while drifting at sea after their fishing boat sank near Thổ Chu island.

The two fishermen are Nguyen Văn Phúc and Huỳnh Minh Chánh from Ca Mau and Ben Tre provinces. Currently, both fishermen are in stable health and psychological condition.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand will continue to coordinate with the Immigration Department of the Royal Thai Police to carry out the necessary procedures for the fishermen to return home as soon as possible within the next two weeks.
