VTV.vn - A ceremony to announce Vietnamese Consumer Rights Day (March 15) was launched on Saturday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the event.

He hailed the achievements made in past years in the implementation of guidelines and policies to protect the rights of consumers.

However, he noted that the protection of consumers' rights in society is still limited.

Therefore, Consumer Rights Day aims to enhance public awareness of the issue. It will also help create a healthy consumption environment and encourage the participation of people from all walks of life in protecting the interests of consumers. The campaign’s activities, themed “Consumer rights to safety”, will be held throughout March nationwide.
