The plane MH370 went missing on March 8, 2014 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board. Malaysian authorities said satellite data revealed the plane lop-sided its route and headed toward the South Indian Ocean.
A joint search campaign in the South Indian Ocean, where the plance presumably ended its journey, has yet to find its wreckage.
Last year, a wing part was recovered at Reunion island, a territory of France, in the Indian Ocean last July and was determined to have been a part of the plane.
