Vietnamese airlines seek to tap US market

VTV.vn - On Feb 15th, the Federal Aviation Administration under the US Department of Transportation officially granted Category 1 (CAT 1) status to Vietnam.

This means that Vietnamese airlines will soon be able to conduct direct flights to the US which are 3 to 6 hours shorter than the flights that are currently available. Bamboo Airways has also confirmed that it will have flights to the US as soon as possible.
