Canada is the first stop in the journey introducing Vietnamese tourism in Canada and the United States from Sep 17-24.
About 120 delegates from business associations and trade, travel, and transportation companies from Vietnam and Canada participated in launching Vietnam’s tourism trademark in Toronto. This year's program is themed "The Soulful Vietnam", introducing Vietnam as a destination of emotional resource, from Hanoi's ancient appearance to Ha Long scenery, or the mountainous Northwest region to coastal lands of Da Nang and Phu Quoc.
Last year, Vietnam received just over 138,000 visitors from Canada, a modest figure compared to such a large market.
