The Government leader also agreed on a break of four days for the National Day in 2021, from September 2 to 5 next year.
The holiday plans were proposed by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Public employees are entitled to enjoy seven days off work during the Lunar New Year 2021 and four days off work during the National Day next year.
According to the new regulations in the Labour Code, public employees will have one additional day off for National Day starting from 2021. The option chosen for this year is the day after September 2.
