Vietnam supports Japan to overcome consequences of floods

VTV.vn - On Thursday, a representative from Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave the Japanese ambassador to Vietnam 100,000 US dollars to help Japan overcome the aftermath of the recent flooding and heavy rains.

In response, the Japanese ambassador to Vietnam expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese Government and people. On July 8th, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a condolence message to his Japanese counterpart, Shinzo Abe, for the great losses in human life and property caused by the recent floods and landslides. On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also expressed his sympathy to Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono.
