Accordingly, Vietnam has recorded major achievements in marine economic developments in recent years, particularly in tourism, fishery exploitation and processing, infrastructure for coastal economic zones, environmental protection, and climate change response.
Addressing the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, pointed out several pending issues in marine economic development. Delegates proposed measures to boost marine economy in line with national defense and security and environmental protection.
