This information was announced at the press conference hosted by the Military Medical Academy in collaboration with Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company. Through testing the criteria of sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and repeatability, the KIT has met the criteria equivalent to the KIT developed by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention of the United States and the World Health Organization.
KIT evaluated patient samples delivered 100% accurate results on all devices and all tests. The Ministry of Health has also licensed the use of this kit for disease prevention of COVID-19.
Right after being licensed, the KIT will be put into production in line with international standards with a capacity of 10,000-30,000 KITs / day. Production capacity can fully meet domestic demand and export or in the form of international support when a COVID-19 outbreak occurs./.
