Vietnam - Russia friendship year launched

In his remarks, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highlighted the close relations between the two countries and recalled the signing of the treaty on fundamental principles of Vietnam-Russia friendship 25 years ago, describing it as opening up a new chapter for the bilateral ties.

The important event will include hundreds of activities such as cultural exchange, celebrations, trade and investment promotion programs, and art performances which will be held in both nations.

Prime Minister Dmitry A. Medvedev also emphasized how special and multi-faceted the cooperation between Vietnam and Russia is, as well as their resolve to consolidate the relationship.
