Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc spoke highly of the results of Volodin's visit to Vietnam in December 2018 and said that he hopes that the two legislative bodies will maintain regular exchanges at all levels, especially the high-level ones.
Volodin affirmed that the State Duma has always paid special attention to the promotion of bilateral partnership with regards to trade, science-technology, education-training, defense, security, and tourism. The Vietnamese leader proposed that the State Duma give legal support and create favorable conditions so that the Vietnamese community can lead stable lives in Russia.
