In response to this atrocity, Vietnamese State President Truong Tan Sang made a phone call to his French counterpart to show support and express Vietnam's condolences for France.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokesperson Le Hai Binh expressed Vietnam’s strong condemnation of the vicious terrorist act. He also reiterated that Vietnam stands behind the French government and people’s efforts to remedy the consequences of the disaster.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh has also requested the Vietnamese Embassy in France to determine if any Vietnamese citizens were caught up in the attack. Vietnam has also set up 2 hotlines for Vietnamese citizens in France.
