Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked authorities to better engage with ethnic communities. For the past decade, the Chăm ethnic group have had improved access to electricity, water, health care, schools and support in their cultural activities.
TV programmes have been broadcast in the Cham language and the cultural diversity of the group has been promoted. Deputy Prime Minister also suggested ministries and agencies to better resolve local difficulties to further promote socio-economic development.
