Vietnam records 59 more domestic COVID-19 infections

VTV.vn - Vietnam confirmed 62 new cases of COVID-19, including three imported cases, in the hours between 12 and 6 pm on June 18, according to the Health Ministry.

The three imported cases were quarantined upon arrival in the provinces of Tây Ninh and Quảng Nam. Among the 59 domestic infections, 30 were found in Ho Chi Minh City, 19 in Bắc Giang, 6 in Bắc Ninh, 3 in Hà Tĩnh, and one in Hòa Bình. Of them, 46 were detected in quarantined or blocked areas.

As many as 80 patients were given the all-clear on June 18, raising total recoveries to 4,733, while the death toll stood at 62.
