Speaking at a press conference this morning (Thursday), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and APEC 2017 SOM Chairman Bui Thanh Son announced that leaders of all APEC member economies have confirmed their participation in the APEC week.
In terms of preparatory steps, Vietnam and Da Nang are prepared to welcome the leaders as well as more than 10,000 delegates from in and outside the country. Deputy Minister Son also announced that the week would feature 8 main events. Among these, the APEC CEO Summit from November 8th to 10th will welcome 2,000 enterprises, both domestic and international - a record number for this event.
