The event was attended by State President Tran Dai Quang, a number of incumbent and former senior officials, and Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov, as well as many Vietnamese alumni in Russia.
The revolution significantly changed the global political situation, opening a new era and lighting up the way of liberation of other nations, including Vietnam.
The Russian October Revolution also brought the Russian and Vietnamese people closer and formed their long-lasting friendship. The art programme was divided into three parts including The Sunlight of the Century, The Golden Pages of Russian History and Russia Love and Endless Inspiration.
