Vietnam protests China’s flights to East Sea again

VTV.vn - The Vietnam Aviation Department has sent a notice to the International Civil Aviation Organisation Asia Pacific addressing Chinese flights in the East Sea.

According to radar data recorded at long-distance control centre in Ho Chi Minh City, the flights operating at a higher altitude than the minimum level allowed by airlines. The flights were not registered with Vietnamese air traffic control and did not establish voice communication with the Ho Chi Minh City Control Centre. Operation of these aircraft are possibly violating ICAO regulations and seriously affecting flight operations in the region, according to the Vietnam Aviation Department.
