VTV.vn - 95 delegates gathered at a seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday to discuss preparations for setting up a level 2 field hospital as part of the country’s participation in UN peacekeeping missions.

The three-day event, co-organised by the Vietnam Peacekeeping Centre under the Ministry of Defence and the US Pacific Command, aims to enhance the capability of Vietnam’s military medical forces in peacekeeping operations. Participants shared experience and expertise in deploying and operating a field hospital during a peacekeeping mission. So far, the Vietnam Peacekeeping Centre has sent two officers to the UN mission in South Sudan and three officers to the Central Africa mission.
